Common login issues

Trouble logging into the EASA Sustainability Portal? This guide covers the most common issues, from expired links to problems with your one-time password.

Invitation or password reset link expired

When you are first invited to the portal or request a password reset, you receive an email with a unique link. This link is only valid for three days.

If your link has expired, you can easily request a new one:

  1. Go to the main portal login page at https://sustainabilityportal.easa.europa.eu/

  2. Click on "Login to EASA Sustainability Portal".

  3. Click the "Forgot your password?" link.

  4. Enter your email address and click "Continue".

  5. Check your inbox for a new email with a valid link.

Your One-Time Password (MFA Code) Is Not Working

After you enter your username and password, you are asked for a 6-digit one-time password from your authenticator app (like Google or Microsoft Authenticator). If this code is rejected, it is usually due to one of two reasons:

  • Timing: The code in your app changes every 30 seconds. You may have entered the code just as it was expiring. Simply wait for the app to show a new code and enter that one.

  • Using the Wrong Code: You might be accidentally trying to use your recovery code. The recovery code is a long, one-time code you were told to save during setup. The login requires the 6-digit, time-sensitive code from your app.

You've lost or change the device with your authenticator app

If you no longer have access to your authenticator app (for example, you got a new phone), you cannot generate the one-time 6-digit code.

Please contact support to request an account reset so you can setup your authenticator app again.
