Will the Flight Emissions Label be used for cargo flights?

Updated February 09, 2026 08:35

The current scope of the Flight Emissions Label is to include passenger flights only, with specific allocations of emissions to the belly cargo carried on these. However, the methodology is designed to be directly applicable to dedicated cargo operations and these will fall into the scope of the FEL starting 2028.
