As a competent authority, you can view a list of all users you can interact with from your organisation landing page, based on your organization membership.
Filters are at your disposal to easily find the user you are looking for.
The important columns in this table are:
- User name, clickable, gives you access to some information about that user. If “main” is displayed next to the user name, this means that this person is the primary contact of his organisation, and is the person of choice to reach out to
- Email, clickable, opens a mail window with the selected address as the recipient
- Status:
- Invited: User has been invited to create an account but has not yet completed the sign-up process.
- Active: Successfully created and is currently in use by the user.
- Inactive: User has been created but are not currently being used. It could be due to inactivity, account suspension, or other reasons. Blocked in a “soft” way
- Blocked: User may be temporarily or permanently blocked due to policy violations, security concerns, or other reasons. Blocked in a “hard” way
- Role: whether the person is a competent authority member or an aircraft operator member
- Organization: link the homepage of this user’s organization.
User tab within competent authorities and aircraft operators pages
Each operator and competent authority has its own organization landing page in the system.
This is the main entry point to access their data submissions and manage their users.
As a competent authority, you can perform several operations:
- Add new user: Invite a new user to the organisation
- Manage user access
- Set/unset admin role on the user(see below)
- Set a user as the primary contact within the organisation (see below)
Set / Unset admin
This action allows the promotion of a user to an organization administrator if there is none. To transfer that role, it must first be revoked and then granted to another user.
Set as primary contact
This action allows the transfer of the “primary contact” flag from one organization member to another. Only a competent authority administrator can perform this operation for aircraft operators. Transferring the primary contact of a competent authority organization can only be achieved by the EASA user.
